Edwin Ulak
Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer of TRADER Corporation, Edwin is responsible for the success of our leading digital automotive brands for Canadian car shoppers and dealership operators. In his role, Edwin aims is to accelerate TRADER’s best-in-class platforms, providing Canadian car buyers with the best way to buy and sell cars and helping dealerships sell more cars, more profitably and with ease.
Edwin joined TRADER Corporation in 2011 as Vice President of Product. He also served as Chief Strategy Officer between 2018 and 2021 with responsibility for strategy and corporate development. Edwin was promoted to President of AutoSync in 2021, and, most recently, Chief Executive Officer at TRADER Corporation in 2024. Prior to joining TRADER, Edwin was responsible for User Experience at AutoTrader Media Group (UK).
Jill Hadfield
President, Dealertrack & CMS
As President of Dealertrack, Jill’s focus is maintaining Dealertrack as the leading provider of integrated dealership technologies. Jill empowers a team of automotive experts to explore and execute product efficacy, innovation, and service to more Canadian dealerships, OEMs, and lenders.
Jill is an entrepreneurial leader with a vision and strength in understanding customer needs to drive the design and delivery of compelling digital dealer, manufacturer and lender solutions. She brings endless energy and innovation to her team, along with a clear vision to drive performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Jody Gill
Chief Sales Officer
As Chief Sales Officer, Jody Gill leads the sales organization at TRADER Corporation and oversees all sales related activities. Within his role, Jody gears the sales strategy to ensure the department’s initiatives are aligned with the overall goals of the business.
Jody began his career at TRADER Corporation as a Senior Regional Sales Manager in Vancouver over 10 years ago, and has since moved to Toronto, where he has held various sales leadership roles within the business. Jody has developed close relationships with dealer partners, as he has led and managed relations on a provincial and national level. He brings this level of experience and understanding of Canadian dealers to his current role, to help mentor and support the sales team across the country.
Beth Worthington
Chief People & Culture Officer
As Chief People Culture Officer, Beth Worthington oversees employee and labour relations, policies, talent management and recruitment strategies for TRADER Corporation. Her focus is to enhance the company’s overall employee value proposition and to continue building high levels of engagement throughout the organization.
Beth joined the company in April 2015 as Director, Human Resources to help attract, retain, and develop talent. She was promoted to Chief People & Culture Officer and a member of the TRADER executive team in October 2016. Prior to joining TRADER Corporation, Beth led the national Human Resources teams and strategies at Canon Canada and Sysco Canada.
Eric Chan
Chief Revenue Officer
As Chief Revenue Officer at TRADER Corporation, Eric oversees Pricing, Product Commercialization, Go-to-Market, and Business Intelligence/Analytics. He has previously held various positions at TRADER Corporation, including EVP of FP&A and Sales Operations and VP of FP&A and Corporate Development.
Before joining TRADER Corporation, Eric led the Initial Public Offering of Real Matters, a leading Canadian marketplace that provides services for the mortgage lending and insurance industries. He also played a crucial role in the sale of Quickplay Media, a Canadian-based SaaS technology company offering multi-platform video streaming services to AT&T.
Eric is an alumnus of Deloitte’s assurance practice, a Chartered Accountant, and holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Waterloo.
Phil Harvey
Executive Vice President, Program Management Office
As Executive Vice President of the Program Management Office at TRADER Corporation, Phil leads the strategic vision and execution of various business initiatives, overseeing a portfolio of projects aligned with organizational goals.​ He has implemented best practices and governance mechanisms to ensure project success, on-time delivery, and budget adherence. ​Phil collaborates with executives and key stakeholders to drive business transformation and maximize return on investment. He is also experienced in leading M&A strategies, negotiations, due diligence, and integration processes. ​
Philip’s career also includes a significant tenure at AutoTrader Media Group (UK) as Program Director from 2002 to 2011. ​He managed complex programs, including the transition from print to digital, the transformation of AutoTrader in South Africa, and the implementation of a pan-European commercial website. ​He was responsible for delivering large transitional programs to evolve AutoTrader Media Group into a singular branded organization with common products and procedures. ​
Phil holds Project Management Professional (PMP) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certifications as well as a BMA in Business & Administration.
Matt Lawson
Managing Director – Software
As Managing Director – Software, Matt is responsible for the development and execution of the software division’s strategic vision to align seamlessly with corporate objectives. Since its inception in 2018, AutoSync has grown significantly, driven by a series of mergers and acquisitions that Matt has supported. His expertise has been instrumental in the seamless integration of acquired entities into a cohesive business unit, facilitating several key transformational projects that have positioned AutoSync as the market leader for automotive software solutions in Canada.
Over the course of his 20-year career at TRADER Corporation, Matt has ascended from an entry-level position, collaborating closely with automotive dealers and OEM customers, to his current leadership role. His extensive experience spans nearly every aspect of TRADER’s business, providing him with a robust understanding of both the industry and the company’s dynamics.
Matt’s academic credentials include completing a Mini MBA at McGill University and an Executive Development program at the Ivey School of Business, enriching his strategic and leadership capabilities. His journey at TRADER Corporation stands as a testament to dedication, innovation, and continuous growth.
Frederik Kraus
Chief Technology Officer
Frederik Kraus has been Chief Technology Officer at the AutoScout24 Group since September 2020. He joined Scout24 AG in 2016 as Vice President of Platform Engineering and has been responsible for the Group’s entire tech area Chief Technology Officer since 2019.
Prior to joining the AutoScout24 Group, he worked at gutefrage.net for five years, where he most recently headed all technical areas including Software Engineering, Data Science and Operations as Chief Technology Officer. From 2007 right up to 2016, he was a co-founder at the startup Cosmotourist, where he was Chief Technology Officer and a member of the management board. He worked as a Software Developer for Lycos Europe / Pangora from 2001 to 2007.
Frederik Kraus studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich with a focus on aerospace engineering and went to school at Wellington College in Berkshire, England. He is married, a father of three children and lives in Munich.
Justin Re
Chief Product Officer
Justin Re has been Chief Product Officer at the AutoScout24 Group since April 2021 and is responsible for all product, design, and SEO functions. Prior to joining AutoScout24, Justin acted as Senior Vice President of Product at Live Nation / Ticketmaster in Los Angeles, where he developed the first in-wallet secure ticketing experiences partnering with Apple and Google. Justin also worked as Senior Director of Product Management at OpenX, a global leader in digital advertising based in California. There he developed the first app-based header bidding solution in the market.
Justin is passionate about complex double-sided marketplaces and has led global teams in B2B, B2C and everything in between. He has over 15 years of experience working across Asia, the UK, and the US. As a designer, his passion is creating and investing in digital products that seamlessly combine a remarkable user experience and value creation for all stakeholders. Justin holds a degree in Design from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia where he is originally from. Justin’s father was a car dealer for 40 years which is where his passion for the auto industry comes from.
